BarnesNest LLC (“BarnesNest”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates barnesnestpros.com to recruit contractors ahead of our launch on September 3, 2026. By using this site or responding to our outreach, you agree to these terms.
The BarnesNest marketplace at barnesnest.com has separate terms covering accounts, jobs, and payments. If you go on to create a marketplace account, see barnesnest.com/terms and barnesnest.com/privacy. How we handle your information on this site is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
This site is for contractors and trade businesses operating in Metro Detroit, Michigan. You must be 18 or older, you must be able to enter a contract on behalf of the business you register, and you must hold any licence or insurance your trade requires under Michigan law.
Registering is an expression of interest
Submitting the form on this site registers your interest in BarnesNest. It is not a contract, not an offer of work, and not a guarantee that you will be accepted, listed, or matched to any job. Nothing on this site obliges either of us to do business.
Any work you later take on through the marketplace is governed by the marketplace terms, not these.
Listings and profiles
We may decline a registration, and we may edit, suspend, or remove any listing or profile at our discretion. We may also build a profile for a contractor from publicly available sources and invite them to claim it, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If a profile for your business exists and you want it corrected or removed, email privacy@barnesnest.com.
No fees through this site
Registering is free. We do not charge you anything through this site, and we do not collect payment details here. Any fees that apply once the marketplace launches are set out in the marketplace terms.
Accuracy of what you tell us
You are responsible for the information you give us, including your business name, trade, service area, experience, and contact details. It must be accurate and current, and you must keep it up to date. We may verify what you tell us, and we may decline or remove a registration that is inaccurate or misleading.
SMS program terms
We send text messages from +1 (313) 306-8702 about joining BarnesNest, claiming your profile, and work matched to your trade.

- Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers may change without notice, and service may not be available on all carriers.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false registrations, register on behalf of a business without its authority, scrape or copy the site, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This site is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we do not warrant that BarnesNest will launch on any particular date or that any volume of work will be available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarnesNest is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising out of your use of this site or your registration.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of this site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use this site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
